This site is dedicated to the furtherance of learning. We hope it will be fun for the young and old alike. We want our readers to learn more about how that small object we hold up in front of us so often – the phone – works. Many sites, good sites, take this goal from a technical standpoint. That’s great, we on the other hand will attempt to look at it from a different perspective. But to do that we want to walk the reader through a small series of tutorials, we think these tutorials will be fun. As with any learning experience it is best achieved in more than one sitting, but we have made the tutorials short.
If any part of these tutorials appear too difficult just remember this from an Edgar Albert Guest poem:
Somebody said that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!
Our site is organized so that the reader can begin with the major categories, as seen from your desktop (laptop or computer). Where the red “x” represents where you have navigated to, as seen below:
The sub-menus are related to where you have navigated to and each other as shown below:
Their are plenty of posts that complement these major categories and are referenced throughout the pages.
Along the way we will utilize maps, and history as a central theme in presenting the information in the tutorials.
So be patient, read through our tutorials quickly set them down, and then come back and read through them again and learn more.
